Each time God does something in my life I am blessed, and
surprised.
I don’t know why I am always surprised, but I am.
Last month was a crazy month of busyness at
work. There was a lot going on
getting everything completed for year end.
Completing tasks for 2024. Making
new tasks for 2025. And in the meantime, keeping our customer base happy as the
weather took a turn for the worse. A typical
January.
Normally it would be okay, but I had a few extra balls in
the air. I had one particular, let’s call
it a situation we have no control over, that had taken a life of its own
and was bothering my spirit. I tried
everything I could do to ‘fix’ it but there was no fixing this one. God would have to intervene. I was feeling a bit down over it along with
all the monumental January tasks at hand. Ug…
Then God stepped in that week. (once again) I
received a call on our business line.
I couldn’t answer the call and to be honest didn’t worry because
it was an out-of-state number and assumed that it might be a telemarketer. Within minutes my phone gave me that familiar
tone that there was a message waiting for me.
I checked the message and paused my work.
It really wasn’t for me. The person was looking for a publishing
company. We are an HVAC company. You can’t confuse the two. I knew it wasn’t for me but I wanted to call
the woman back and let her know she had the wrong number.
When I finally made the call, it became a strange twist of
events that turned out to be a “God Blessing” in my life. God sent me a beautiful woman from Texas to fellowship
with me in the middle of my crazy month.
She is a sister in Christ and a writer.
God knew we needed to meet.
What a blessing that phone call was!
She said during our call that, “It was a God
thing!” It was!
I needed that moment.
She doesn’t know it, but she filled my cup that day.
God knew I needed it.
Sometimes the random phone calls are the best!
We all need each other.
We are all a piece of the fellowship puzzle.
God uses each of us to lift downtrodden spirits.
Who has God put on your heart?
Pick up your phone and text them right now.
Don’t let this moment get away from you. Let God guide you to bless someone this week!
Remember you can’t outgive God.
Love you guys!
'Therefore encourage one another and build each other up,
just as in fact you are doing. '
1 Thessalonians 5:11
